I interviewed my host mother. She is Canadian. I thought Canada is the freedom to everything such as their rights, values, personality, and education when I asked her. It is different from Japan. For example, Canadian people tend to work individually. However, Japanese people are always concerned about how they appear to others and tend to work in a group. I was surprised that Canadians are very friendly. My host mother said that, and I felt that it was true through living in Canada. I was also surprised about the most common food in Canada. My image was high-calorie food and maple syrup, but she answered sushi, Korean food, and Asian food in British Columbia. Canada and Japan have differences, but Asian culture has become more familiar in Canada.
