I took this video on remembrance day. The day is to pray for soldiers of the first world war. The symbol of the day is the red poppy because it comes from a poem, In Flanders Fields, by a Canadian soldier. The reason why I chose this video is that Japan also experienced a world war and Japanese people pray for people who passed away because of the atomic bomb every August 6 and 9. Therefore, this day is similar to the holiday in Japan.
I watched ice hockey for the first time. I don’t know the rule of it, but I enjoyed watching it! Blazers won this game, so I was really happy. I was surprised by two things. The first thing was that sometimes players got off their groves. I think it happens more often than in Japan. The second thing was that a hockey ball flew toward the audience. I was relieved that nothing happened, but if it had been someone, they would be injured.
I enjoyed the Santa parade while drinking Tim Horton’s coffee. I found Koto, Midori, Nanase, and Yuki. I was surprised because I didn’t think they were leading away. I never experienced Christmas in a foreign country, so I enjoyed the music, atmosphere, and stuff of it. What do you think when you hear Christmas? Of course, I remember Kentucky Fried Chicken! I had to work in KFC every Christmas, so I didn’t like Christmas until last year. However, I don’t have to work this year, so I’m very happy!!! I hope that you will have a great time at Christmas, but please don’t go to KFC because my co-workers will have a hard time if you go.
